Contentment and Gratitude

Contentment and gratitude are two very powerful sentiments human beings can feel.

Contentment is to happy about what we already have. Good health, good relationships, good job, good future, etc.

Gratitude is to be thankful. To appreciate what are given to us when we are not entitled to receive.

Both are intricately intertwined and they are both major contributors to a successful, meaningful, and happy life.

To be contented and grateful means that there are no ‘but’s’, but to just be content and grateful.

To be contented and grateful also doesn’t mean that we will remain status quo, or average. As I’ve mentioned, successful people are contented and grateful.

Average people always think that to be contented and grateful means that they have to settle only with what they currently have.

One the other hand, successful people are always able to clearly separate contentment and gratitude with taking actions to achieve the world changing dreams.

You can be contented and grateful and still be unreasonably driven in your pursuit of massive success in life.

Balance

I’ve written before that to achieve massive success, you need to be obsessed possessed.

Jim Rohn once said that too much of something is bad, even if that something is good. One cannot work so hard till he or she loses balance.

The problem with 99% of us (and I assume it includes you as well) is not that we worked too hard. The truth is that most people only operate at only 20% of their full capabilities. If that’s the case, why are we even discussing about balance?

Balance is only for people who have found the drive to go into overdrive. When one reaches that stage, then balance should be introduced.

But if you’re operating at 20% of your true capability, then balance isn’t an idea you should even deserve to be contemplating.

If you have found value in our content and would like to make a small contribution to support us, you may do so through BMAC. Your generosity and kindness is much appreciated. Thank you!

Last 2 Days to 2021

We are nearing the end of 2020 and there’s one more thing you haven’t done.

Send your well wishes to everyone who has played a part in your life for the past year.

They can be your family members, your friends, your colleagues, your bosses, your superiors, your subordinates, your customers, your partners, your teachers, your friends, your enemies, etc.

After all, we simply don’t go around expressing our gratitude everyday so why not take this great opportunity to do so.

Billionaire

This is neither a story about success nor money. But a personal story that is extremely close to my heart and will definitely stick with me for the rest of my life.

Most newly minted parents will know that babies will wake up every two hours in the night to cry for milk.

During one of such nights, while my wife and I were admiring our cute little boy suckling away, I asked her this question, “if someone were to offer you a million dollars, would you sell him away?” Without any hesitation, she replied, “No, I wouldn’t.”

Then I asked again, “What about a billion dollars?” Again without any hesitation, she replied, “No. I wouldn’t sell him for any amount of money.”

This hit me with a realization of how rich I already am. I am even richer than a billionaire. Right in our arms is something that we wouldn’t exchange even for a billion dollars.

We all have that something that is priceless to us. While we are all striving to achieve our own definition of greatness, it is also important to be grateful and reminded of the things that we already have.

4 Things You Must Do Everyday If You Want To Be Massively Successful

To become massively successful, certain actions must be taken.

Here’s four things you must commit to on a daily basis if you truly desire to achieve massive success.

Workout

The journey to success is often arduous. It requires a lot of energy for us to get there.

Working out not only keep us physically healthy, it also helps to build up our energy level.

On top of that, it increases our discipline and focus, all which are prerequisites to achieving massive success.

Read

While we spend most of our time on activities that contribute directly to our goals, for example, doing sales and marketing, we shouldn’t neglect the importance of educating ourselves through reading.

Reading increases our knowledge. We gain vital wisdoms when we read books written by other successful people.

Warren Buffett attributes much of his success to reading. He said that reading helps him to “make less impulse decisions than most people in business.” He is known to read 500 pages a day.

Reach

The truth is that in order for us to become successful, our hard work must be recognized by others.

Therefore, it is important that we spend a portion of our day reaching out to people.

People who may find our services and products helpful, or people who simply appreciate our contribution.

Work

Lastly, if we truly desire to achieve massive success, we need to invest most of our time and effort on actions that have direct impact on our goals.

If you are a salesman, most of your time should be spent meeting and talking to your customers. And if you are a hoping to become a succsssful bodybuilder, you should be spending most of your time lifting weights in the gym.

If we are truly serious about achieving massive success in our goals and dreams, it is important that we start pouring our heart and soul into them.
