Aim for the Moon

“Aim for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”

But I say “aim for the moon”, period.

You see, when you aim for the moon, thinking that you can still land among the stars even if you miss, the most likely thing that will happen for most people is that they will not just not land on the moon or even the stars, but come crashing hard back to earth.

Success is all about mindset. That is what I discover two years ago and I called this discovery of mine, The Aim for the Moon Mindset.

Goals are not target boards, but springboards to propel you to greater heights. Success isn’t about your 9 to 5, but your 5 to 9. That’s 5pm to 9am (not just 4 hours). Every miracle exists within that 16 hours but at the end of the day, how much energy and motivation would you be left with to harness those valuable hours. Escape the gravity of conventionalities and conquer the boundaries of possibilities.

The biggest reason why most people are stuck in mediocrity isn’t because of anything else but because of their tiny mindset. They simply think too small. Hard to blame. After all, they have spent all their lives – 30 years, 40 years, or even longer – believing in what society tells them, in what the news tells them, and worst of all, what their average and unremarkable peers tell them.

And the only way to change your prospects in life is to change your mindset. If it hasn’t change you for 30 or more years, it’s probably not working and it’ll probably never going to work. It’s not persistent. It’s insanity and we all know what Albert Einstein once said,

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
