Someone needs your help so you help. You’re tired. It takes up some of your time. You push your work aside. All to help that someone because it’s right to be helpful and that is probably someone who you just have a little trouble saying no to.
Three days later, that someone comes back to ask for help. So you help again. Then again and again. For months and for years.
One day, drained, you finally decided to tell that person that perhaps you can’t help as much as you did anymore.
