We get upset with others when their mindset differs from ours.

Very often, there’s no right or wrong for either party. It is simply a case of different people, different perspectives.

Most of the time, we get upset with the other party because we feel that he or she is in the wrong. We reprimand them. We criticize them. We may even condemn and ostracize them.

But whatever happened to being understanding to others? The time when someone needs our understanding is when they are “wrong”. When everyone’s right, there’s no need for anyone to be understanding.

So the next time when a friend or a loved one has a flawed perspective in your opinion, remind yourself it is simply an opportunity for you to be understanding.

If you think this will be helpful to anyone you love, please share. Thank you
